A Plumber's Dream

We had our first wedding of the year and all I can say is if this is a forcast of the rest of our year...I am so excited!! The thing that was great about Jane and Dave's wedding is that they made it their own. From the custom skull wedding rings to the black viel, it was defintely a wedding to remember.


From the moment we met Jane and Dave it was obivious they were a perfect match. They were so excited to get married. Dave even left Jane a note the the night before...

Shelly & Andy

One thing I love about living in Southern California is there is always a new location! Today Shelly and Andy took us to their friends private ranch, a beautiful setting for their engagement photos. From the orchard to the reservoir to setting sun everything went great and hopefully Andy got home in time to watch the end of the game!

I loved their wit! There were several times Kelly and I had to stop shooting because we were laughing to hard, well at least I was. All I can say is that they remind me a lot of Kelly and I in their sarcasm! I can't wait until their wedding, I can already tell it's going to be great!

M & D

Another perfect Southern California day! We learned a lot about Diane and Marlo today. We already knew they are getting married in August, but we didn't know that they started dating back in high school. Diane took us to the park where they use to meet while still in high school and showed us the tree where they would meet under, so of couse we had to take a picture of them under the tree.


They were so much fun, playing in the kids playground, Diane jumping on Marlo's back (we didn't have to tell her!) and both of them enjoying the perfect weather at the beach.

Joyce and Beryel had such great wedding! Jim and I truely enjoyed shooting their wedding. The bridal party did such a great job of showing their enthusiam in this shot. It's defintely one of my favorites of the year!

Happy New Years! Excited for 2008!

Although 2007 has been a great year we are defintely ready for 2008! This year started out rough, our cat "Thor" was diagnosed with cancer and had to have major surgery! But she is so cute she is worth the money! And then we ended the year with another trip to the vet, our other cat "Slick" was really sick and had to spend 3 nights at the kitty emergency room! They both are feeling much better now and running around the house like nothing was ever wrong!

Slick...we came home working late at the studio this Friday and he was panting and crying! Turns out he had crystals and couldn't go to the bathroom!! Poor kitty, but he's doing better than ever now!
As for our business, 2007 defintely was a great year! We got to meet so many wonderful and new people. These are a few of my favorite shots from the year!


As for 2008, we have so many things already planned!! Starting next Monday I am going to be taking a photography class at the local community college with one of our friends (and a client from 2007) Shannon.
I have decided to freshen up my skills and maybe learn something new, while Shannon has always wanted to learn more about photography.

In February Jim and I are so excited, he gets to go on tour with his band, The Love Kills Theory, in the Northeast & Midwest and I get to go with him to take pictures and travel to states I have never been to before, even though it's going to be cold!

In addition to traveling in the north we also will be going to Norte Dame University in April for an engagement shoot, Kentucky & Hawaii in May for weddings, and New York in June just for fun!
As many of you know it is a tradition for Jim and I to drive across the country at least once a year, hopefully this year we can do it more than once!
